[Appel] Les mécanismes de l’expertise et ses acteurs. Moyen Âge – xix^e siècle

Après plusieurs années de travaux menées sur l’expertise et les experts parisiens des bâtiments à l’époque moderne, l’ANR « Experts et expertise du bâtiment, 1690-1790 » organise un colloque international à l’université Paris Nanterre les jeudi 25 et vendredi 26 mai 2023, qui ouvrira la discussion sur « Les mécanismes de l’expertise et ses acteurs. Moyen Âge – xix^e siècle », à partir de perspectives théoriques, disciplinaires, nationales et internationales variées.

Toutes les personnes intéressées sont invitées à faire parvenir au comité d’organisation du colloque des propositions s’inscrivant notamment, mais non limitativement, dans les cinq axes énoncés ci-dessous.

1. Les sources de l’expertise et leur conservation
2. Le statut de l’expert : expérience, renommée, compétence
3. Les causes de l’expertise et les missions de l’expert
4. Les pratiques des experts : sensibilité, matérialité et discours
5. L’autorité de l’institution

Les propositions de contributions doivent être transmises au plus tard le 15 novembre 2022 à l’adresse expertise-et-experts@sciencesconf.org.

Elles pourront être rédigées en français ou en anglais. Elles doivent comporter 4 000 signes espaces comprises au maximum, ainsi que l’indication de cinq mots-clés.

After years of work on expertise and Paris building experts in the early modern period, the ANR project on “Experts et expertise du bâtiment, 1690-1790” is holding an international conference at Paris Nanterre University on Thursday 25 and Friday 26 May 2023, which will open up the discussion on “The mechanisms of expertise and its actors. Middle Ages - 19th century” to various theoretical, disciplinary, national and international perspectives.

All interested colleagues are invited to send proposals to the conference organising committee, particularly, but not exclusively, in the five thematic areas listed below.

1. The sources of expertise and their conservation
2. The status of the expert
3. The reasons for expertise and the expert’s missions
4. The experts’ practices
5. The authority of the institution

The call for papers in French and in English can be viewed and downloaded at https://expertise-et-experts.sciencesconf.org 

Proposals for contributions must be submitted by 15 November 2022 at the latest to the following address expertise-et-experts@sciencesconf.org.

They may be written in French or English. They should be no more than 4,000 characters including spaces, and include five keywords.
